This collectible Dresden glass shoe has an applied rose on the front and a "folded" heel on the back (perhaps to resemble a ballet shoe?). The entire top of the shoe has gold gilt around the edge, which is in excellent condition. The rose may have a tiny chip on one petal (I'm not sure, though, because it may be part of the petal design). The shoe is 6" long and about 2" wide at the widest point at the heel. The bottom has the Dresden crown and "Dresden," both in gold gilt. There is also a signature (of an owner, I presume -- Nell and Clarence Guy maybe?) written in pencil. It could easily be erased if the buyer so desires. A very beautiful glass shoe!
